Alicia's experience at Dodo 

"To tell you the truth, when I chose to volunteer, I wasn't sure how this experience was going to be like. A country, a weather, and a culture so different from mine scared me, as well as excited me. Now that this adventure is coming to an end, I know for sure that ESC volunteering has been the best decision I could have made. 

Alicia is finishing was  a volunteer in @dodo_org   a Finnish environmental NGO based in Helsinki that addresses environmental issues in the community, embraces complexity, and figures things out together.

Working in the Dodo's garden has been such a pleasant experience 💚  I found out how much you can learn from planting seeds, watering, and seeing how plants grow.  🌱 Also, the Urban Dinners have been a lot of fun and experiences.

But above all, I highlight all the good people I have met and the impressive places I have been to. Starting with the snowy landscapes⛄, then the eternal days of summer🌞, and now the amazing autumn🍁. Nature and bike rides have filled my heart. 🚲
